OT: Saw an old Sparty fan at the Grouper today after the ballgame...

...Cards/Nats and he's a Cards fan down here for a few weeks. Shook his hand and congratulated him and told him how I respect Izzo and Bo Ryan because they made public their respect for JVP, even when it wasn't popular. He thought about it for about 20 seconds, took his glasses off, wiped a tear from the corner of his eye, and said "Well I sure respected him a lot too."

We're blessed to have Cardinal fans here. I can't imagine having to put up w/ Met/Yankee/Sox fans.

Thanks old Sparty Guy! You made my day. Go win the damn thing.
