though give the reporter, and her supporters, and Toronto FC (who are working on identifying the fans and banning them for life) credit for calling these idiots out.

Here's some other points Bowden made during the Paul Finebaum interview this PM on the SEC Network:
- Preferred the BCS but changed his mind after witnessing the 4-team playoff transpire.
- On comparing Saban and Meyer, it's a toss up. Both are well prepared coaches. Thought that OSU would be the team to break the Alabama strangle hold because of its resources. When Meyer went there, it became a foregone conclusion in his mind.
- FSU was wooed by the SEC and ACC at the same time. He favored joining the ACC because he thought it would be too difficult to win through the SEC to a national championship.
- He thought his calling was to coach Alabama. When he was asked to talk to Alabama's president about the job, he said he would do it if there would be an offer. He was not applying. He met with the prez and a group of other people and after talking was not given an offer. He went home and withdrew as a candidate.
