OT: State College Christmas week.....

Thought about making the Rose Bowl trip with my 13 year old son, but can't do it for a few reasons. Was wondering if maybe spending a few days in State College that week might be a fun thing to do.

So, a few questions for State College area denizens:

1. Will there be any special Rose Bowl game viewing events?
2. Will Tussey Mountain be operational for skiing/snowboarding?
3. Any other events happening that week?

When I lived in State College, I always enjoyed town when it was less crowded. Restaurants are open and yet you don't fight crowds. I think it would be fun.

Tussey is currently making snow.

Brief warm up right before the holiday is in forecast. Some natural snow and ice I bforcast next ten days.

I am sure places like letter and and champs will be having some kind of game watching event.

Nice time to be in town... Quiet and slow.
