Lackland TX - Chanute IL - Phalsbourg, France - Wheelus, Tripoli, Libya - Travis CA.
Matured. Saw the US, EU and a bit of AF; a bit of the June '67 War fairly close up; Charles DeGaulle leading the French Independence Day parade down the Champs Elysees in Paris; participated in a search for the pilot of a crashed F104 fighter plane in the Vosges Mountains of France. Got to know some unforgettable people and some real characters as well. Saw 11 foreign countries.
Kudos to many of my buddies who were assigned to stations in the other direction, to serve in Nam.
