You could double up Alaska and Northern Lights.Kakslauttanen, Finland to see the Northern Lights (top of my list)
Mt. Everest base camp (This is a tough sell to my wife because, while she will go to Tibet or Nepal, she will not go up the mountain. The window on this is closing quickly due to age.)
Alaska
Canadian Rockies by rail
True, but it is my understanding that the chances of seeing them is far greater inYou could double up Alaska and Northern Lights.

Bring an armed posse. Dangerous country. I'm good friends with 3 different families originally from South Africa. It's a mess. ( I'm sure statistically he will be fine).IMO, Italy and the Amalfi Coast can't be beat.My 23 year old son just booked a trip to South Africa over Ireland and Italy. Was that a good choice?

I never had a bucket list of places I'd like to travel but I now have an idea. Thanks!Only foreign country I truly want to visit is Australia. Hoping I get to do that on work's dime in 2019 with the Presidents Cup just being announced as going to Melbourne. One other thing I'd love to do is see the Midnight Sun in Alaska during the summer solstice.
I'm one who rarely ever posts but I had to reply to this thread. After 14 years with the same company, I choose to take a leap year and the wife & I are taking our two kids (5,2) on a trip around the world. We made the decision about a year ago to live our dream, set a budget and go out and do it. The great news is you all can follow along as we plan to blog the entire journey. We'll start blogging May 21.
