I have been furious over JF not just coming out and saying he has no interest in any openings that are out there. I also understand he "can't" because it is part of the negotiation process.

My issue now is this.....why can't PSU get something done like we have just seen at Michigan State, UTSA, Michigan Basketball.

Seems the two sides are playing chicken with the future of the program and I don't like it.

Partially the result of a lame duck president and a lame duck AD. Barron is gone before next season. Barbour will be gone before 2023.

Let see, to date, CJF is 10-9 over the this season and last. Why would the Admin even want to renegotiate his contract??? IF Clifford move on after the season, it's going to be ugly next year too. I think big time programs that now looks at CJF as #1 a HC replacement has pretty much shriveled to zero. He might a call if their first couple of targets pass.

You know, when I don't want to do something, I can always find a reason, a really good reason, to not do it.

Strange, no?

But when someone wants to actually do it, they seem to be able to do it despite the fact that I had verbalized it in such a way as to make it seem impossible.
