He was one of the Tree of Life murder victims. His widow gave a moving eulogy. He was a religious Jew and she a devout Catholic. Both were involved in each other's charities. Both dentists who donated their time. He went to Pitt she to Penn State. They met at Pitt dental school. The widow noted that they were able to thrive in love despite their differences, but were destroyed by hate nonetheless. They had just celebrated their 38th anniversary and were planning their retirement from their shared dental practice. It is heart wrenching. I wonder how long it will take me to see a flag at half mast and not feel a twist in my stomach.
