When I first saw the headline, I feared that Chief was quitting the board. Gave me a scare.

You had me worried also that Chief was retiring. Better retirement than retiring from this site... but the entertainment value on here is priceless and can't be measured to an AF retirement package. Lol

Thanks Goldbanger and to the rest of you lads and lasses , Amalone...didn't want to leave you out . I really appreciate it. We are headed up to Iowa City in March or April to live so there goes the neighborhood. I'll be 4-5 hours away from Kansas City and St Louis for my Chiefs and Cardinals, about 100 miles away from my Dad and five to ten minutes away from you know where. Pretty excited. I am going to try and make one road trip a year or B1Gs so if you see a slightly disreputable looking dude in Hawk's gear (yea yea, aren't we all) with a Costco size package of toilet paper wandering around looking for Cael's house, welp....

Going to have to start working on my second one after we get there so I got another 20 as well haha.
Chief, maybe you can get a job at the U of Iowa, or even better CHA, may as well get a job you would love
A mix...Spent 13 years in Active Duty but got a bit burned out because about half of that was away from the wife...the rest as active duty in the guard (they call it AGR)...which was the best of both worlds; got to stay in one place and still get my active duty retirement. I have worked in four F-16 units, A-10s, EC-130s, and RC-135s.

I've thought about that papa...I know that I definitely want to contribute to the sport somehow whether it's volunteering for the HWC or something else.
Congrats Chief! I hope the new vocation understands that you need time each day to keep L-I-V-I-N on the boards.
PS- if you get a chance, try to find the audio/video of McConaughey from howard stern last week. Was an awesome listen about dazed and confused and other work hes done. Yes, he did the "alright, alright, alright"...

Don't know why I started this love fest, but I owe you a big 'ole THANKS ALOT!! What I mean by that is my crew now wants me to dress like my new avatar, which you are also responsible for, the Thursday night of Nationals this year. They are already in the process of buying this nonsense and I fear after about 5 scotches, it may come to fruition!!
Lol, thanks guys Buy me a drink in St. Louis. I Believe the "Crew" will handle the costs. I would like to get a pic with as many of you posters with the "banger" on Thursday night. Az you are #1 for more reasons than one. minnhawkeye and Turkmas well and of course Tom, Roar and all others. Should make for a real fun To hurt day before things get serious.
