Simply having this discussion is amazing.
Pin rates for last year:
Zain: 45.7
Nolf: 44
Bo: 22
How many other teams had three wrestlers with above 20% pin rates for the season, let alone 2 guys with pin rates in the 40's? What is the total season pin rate for all of the NCAA in duals last season? 20%? 15%?
And here we are talking about an over/under of 16.5 for three of our guys in a single dual? Crazy.

I've got over 16.5, under 12:00. Zpain and Nolf are facing 2 very inexperienced victims, so I'm expecting them to give Bo plenty of time to do his thing.

With Baldwin's love of wrestling, Binghampton connection, and isn't there a Penn State/Jerry Seinfeld's Gym teacher connection? Couple that with Dake's love of the camera and it's really not that long of a shot ;-)

I think the story is that Baldwin knows him personally, too. I can't remember the details, though.
Yes! There ya go. I'm a Seinfeld nut and couldn't think of the name. I was thinking Chris Villalonga instead of Bevalacqua. I think Baldwin was friends and/or High School teammates with Chris Bevalacqua.
It's Bevilacqua, and dad Al is head of Beat the Streets, and recently had a high school wrestling room named in his honor. Sons Chris and Mike are ex-PSU wrestlers, and Mike still lives in the State College area.
Curious, are you from LI 94? I grew up in Levittown/Hicksville (a few towns over from Massapequa) but wrestled for LI Lutheran in Brookville.
Yeah graduated from Brentwood but live in North Babylon right now. I know where LI Lutheran is im in Nassau a lot more than Suffolk even though that's where I live
Very familiar with both areas. I believe my coach, Tom Fauvell, coached Brentwood before coming to LI Lutheran, but based on your '94 nick, I'm guessing that was well before your time (I graduated HS in '86).
It is lol but I know who he is he was my dads coach at the sonderling building when the schools were separate. Got to meet him when my brother qualified for the state tournament his freshman year. I've tried my best to watch wrestling from that era and beyond. I think Joe plante was wrestling for Brentwood around that time but I could be off
