Wyomissing defeated Southern Columbia 41-21 Friday night in Catawissa, so Clairton's state record 66 game win streak remains intact. The Tigers lost for the 1st time since the 2016 state championship game. They also had a 93 game regular season winning streak, going back to 2011, snapped as well. Southern remains the top ranked team in the state in class 2A; Wyomissing is 3rd in 3A.

Wyomissing has size and talent. Impressive athletes and well coached. Southern's QB appears to be out for the season.
