Some of the bigger news across the state:

Two of Southern Columbia's 4 returning state runners-up (Todd Lane and Blake Marks) are injured and missed sectionals.

Riley Palmer (Council Rock South), #1 in PA, no longer the odds-on favorite to win 106 after missing weight at sectionals. Palmer is 28-0 with 25 bonus point wins at 106/113 this year.

Dropping weight:
- Gage Curry (North Hills) from 120 to 113
- Sammy Sasso (Nazareth, possibly top freshman in the state) from 126 to 120
- Pat Duggan (Cumberland Valley) from 152 to 145. Duggan vs. Kemerer is a showcase match at states.

Bumping up:
- DJ Hollingshead (Altoona) from 160 to 170.
- Andrew Dunn (Beca) from 220 to 285. Dunn was #1 at 220 (albeit with Jordan Wood out until recently). Dunn vs. Spiller could be a wild heavy match.
