PaPower Podcast - wrestlers and matches of the decade

Chock full of Penn State goodness about 15 minutes in when they start their 2nd segment

Good find. Nobody could collect $5 by breaking Ed Ruth's cradle grip in HS/club practice ... shocking.

After the All-Decade Team, the Nate Brown interview was well worth the listen. A few snippets:
- Brown almost committed to Cornell. (Imagine him and Billy George in practice.)
- Cael had visited, and Brown had an official lined up with PSU when he committed to Lehigh.
- No other coaches negative recruited against Santoro.
- Some programs push guys out of the way if they don't produce. Santoro and Cael are not like that. (Interestingly, he did not mention Koll despite nearly committing there ... oversight?)
- If he had to do it all over again, he would've focused more on maximizing his potential and less on chasing NCAA titles.

Also some good comments about wrestlers and parents taking youth results too seriously -- youth results don't matter at all, learn the life lessons, embrace the process, let the results come later.
