Pasta Porn

Y’know, I figured we’d try to kill each other at some point, but I didn’t think it would be via heart disease
Just had my annual physical today. Blood panel is perfect, low blood pressure, low cholesterol, liver/kidney firing on all cylinders...

Only negatives are low good cholesterol (always) and slightly high triglycerides.

I attribute it all the my VERY high carb diet. I can't imagine a life without a nice Italian baguette with butter, and pasta a couple of days a week.

Sure I could lose 20lbs for sure but you gotta live. I envy you folks who can maintain a low carb diet but I don't see how it would be possible with me.

The right one is my wife's claddaugh. She bought it in Dublin when studying abroad from PSU. When we first went out, I took it and put it on that finger. I told her I would give it back if we ever stopped seeing each other. I have to keep her now because I'll never get it off. My knuckle has gotten way too arthritic!

This was supposed to be a video. I guess imgur doesn't support that.
Nice machine, I still do it the old fashion way… with my fingertips! I will confess to using an old “chitarra” to make spaghetti alla chitarra! Bordeaux, are you still in Ft Myers… love to have you & Mrs over for dinner… and “swap recipes”!
First thing I found moving here was Mario’s Meat Market for guanciale & prosciutto di Parma!

I literally eat garlic and oil or cacio d pepe at least twice a week.
Willie, I knew you were of Italian heritage… but never this “authentic”… when you were with the Dark side of the Force at FRL you talked a lot about grilling… but I never imagined this thread! LOL 😂

And here I thought I was “unique” on BWI 🤓 , and would have never imagined using the word guanciale or cacio e pepe on a wrestling board….only to see so many culinary Italian chefs! I don’t feel so alone any more!! 🥳

was always warm and grilling season in Texas! but pasta i just can't quit.

it's kind of a curse b/c i'm particular about it. on most wrestling trips i don't trust ordering pasta at a restaurant so when i come home i load up. sometimes i start the water before putting my bags away.

And then you grab the damn bacon. Lol

I’m telling you Willie, fear not if you’re coming to Spire for U23 and Junior trials. I’ll feed you some pasta. And maybe one of those A7 Wagyu Strips…if of course you complete your mission to land Shap#*o.

I'm in Erie full time and in Naples part time. Used to live in Heritage Palms on Six Mile Cypress until 2014 before buying in Naples. What part of Ft Myers are you in?

Just catching up. This sounds like recruiting. Should we inform Emmert?
