who could forget this gem from last year. If he shows his face in the Beav, hope he hears it after we stomp the shit out of them

Clearly a classless Tony Dorsett, but before I rip him any further, does he have some mental or health issues? He sounds unbalanced
He was a great back in his time.was't there a funny story told by Joe about Johnny majors hiding him in a hotel until signing day?During his time with Pitt they only beat Psu with their ntl championship squad. He has CTE.
Applaud the guy for his misplaced enthusiasm. Sounds like he has been waiting many years to do that. You won't hear him this Saturday and it's doubtful anyone will be taking him to the game cause he couldn't get there on his own.

Yes I watched that game and seem to recall that. It's been a whileWas that 1976?Yep, I was at that game, at 3 Rivers Stadium. Majors moved DOOR-set to FB for the 2nd half and that screwed up our defense just enough for DOOR-set to run for big yardage in the 2nd half and break open a close game (ties at the half??) for a pitter win.....

Yes, actually. He's retarded.Clearly a classless Tony Dorsett, but before I rip him any further, does he have some mental or health issues? He sounds unbalanced
Tap the brakes on Tony D. I live here in Dallas and it is very clear to local sports media types he is back sliding mentally likely due to CTE.
But if it makes it makes folks feel better, about 15 years ago he and I crossed paths at a Cowboy game in the Stadium Club (enclosed bar area overlooking end zone in old stadium). I had a PSU golf shirt on and he made a wise ass remark... to which I replied to him , "Hey aren't you Tony Dorsett" only I used the actual pronunciation of DOOR-sit. I though he was going to take a swing at me. I was very proud of myself.
He didn't have that many brain cells to lose to begin with. He's a punch drunk douche. Eff him
He doesn't even know who he is at this point. He's officially as stupid as the fan base.who could forget this gem from last year. If he shows his face in the Beav, hope he hears it after we stomp the shit out of them
I have new found respect for yinzer. My DOOR-sit story. Early 1990s. Living in Valley Ranch where the Cowboys had their practice facility. I stop by the local 7-Eleven for some Coke and who's there but DOOR-sit. He's giving the sales clerk $hit for not selling him the winning lottery ticket (there was a big winner the night before). I was struck how diminutive he is but you could tell the dude is cut. Aint an ounce of fat on him.
Allow me to point out that Tony Dorsett was a jerk before he had CTE.
Doorsitt was an imbecile long before CTE, MTO or whatever. He left Pitt after 4 years at the academic level of a 1st term sophomore, owing over 2000 dollars in traffic tickets. The guy made a fortune in the NFL which he pissed away, was swindled out of by people much smarter than he, and the rest was seized by the IRS for taxes he wasn't paying. He went bankrupt. His kid set him up in a business "Tony33 Sauce" that flopped because he was drinking everything up. His talents were limited to passing out on couches in hotel lobbies and decorating them with his heave.
He was/is a total loser. He tried to collect Workers Comp. and unemployment and failed, although with the CTE thing, he could collect back workers comp and have funds to drink with.
And Pittsburgh names a street after him? More idiots.
IIRC, and its been a few years, Pitt used an old offense called the "Veer". It was a two back set, RB's behind to the left and right of the QB. What they did was move TD closer to the LOS. I talked to the Center on that team (kid named Brzoza, who was an All American). He said TD was so fast to the LOS that the QB was having problems getting him the ball. From a blocking standpoint, the OL just had to brush the defender and TD was passed them like a shot. The defenders just didn't have time to react to the play because TD was so fast off the snap.Yep, I was at that game, at 3 Rivers Stadium. He is just as sane/smart as your average Liar poster!Clearly a classless Tony Dorsett, but before I rip him any further, does he have some mental or health issues? He sounds unbalanced
where did you get that cut and paste? Just asking.IIRC, and its been a few years, Pitt used an old offense called the "Veer". It was a two back set, RB's behind to the left and right of the QB. Yeah, it should. If you think Woody Allen's work is affected by his life, if you think OJ Simpsons work is affected by his life, etc. You don't get credit for your accomplishments if you are a total jerk, sorry.Outside his behavior last year. Fact is the guy was questionably a top 10 RB of all time in the NFL. Can't deny how good he was.
But yeah a jerk, but still shouldn't take away how he was on the field.
Pitt did do some split back Veer, but they were also an I formation team. They moved TD up to full back in the I, and as you see here, busted one! Pretty good interviews, BTW.IIRC, and its been a few years, Pitt used an old offense called the "Veer". It was a two back set, RB's behind to the left and right of the QB. But we'll always have thisI will add that I played golf in the Tony DOOR-set McGuire Memorial golf fundraiser outing 2 times, and had my picture taken with him (everyone does as a 5-some with a sports celebrity as well...). He was on good behavior, probably due to the number of PSU sports celebs that agreed to play in his outing. I played in a 4-some behind Lance Mehl one of the years.
I will say that the first year I played with Wandstadt and was very impressed with him as a coach and person during the 5 hours I spent with him. No wonder they threw him out at pitt......
Oh, the 2nd year I played with Buster Douglas. Huge man, didn't say much, probably due to the pounding he took as a boxer. Lives in Columbus,.... enough said....
