Look for a last minute knee/ankle/rib injury to keep PD3 from ripping Martin apart.
Did anyone else just become a Myles Martin fan? I mean, I admired him but never would have called myself a fan.. Now for some reason there is this feeling deep down that makes me want to stand up and cheer loudly for him on Sunday. I'm so confused right now!!!! Anyone have any advice?

Similar to Kuhn for PSU for PSU’s begin of Spring Semester on Jan 8, I don’t think PD3 can be on the roster or wrestle until Univ of Iowa begin classes - which is I believe is January 16th.
I’ll be hoping for a PD2 vs M. Martin’s Dad meltdown thread on HR.

I think Downey loses that match if it ever happens but i don't hink he would get torn apart. Loss by dec 7-3 type score
Unless something has changed, athletes routinely contribute to their teams in competition before their first ever semester begins. Teams have true freshman playing football, FH and soccer before classes start. As far as I’m aware, competition eligibility for the “next semester” begins when the “last semester” ends. So a wrestler that was ineligible to compete in the fall, is eligible after the last final exam university wide and can compete in the Scuffle despite classes not having begun for spring. I see no reason why either Kuhn or PDIII can not compete today if they are officially enrolled.

Downey will surpass Dake's record of 4 titles at 4 weights, by doing it one year.

Then PDIII’s next victim is the “Gay Giraffe” as Nickal has been recently coined on HR.
Would be funny if Nickal tossed yet another over-hyped Hawkeye around. I seem to remember a lot of bluster about Brooks (not from Brooks himself) before Nickal summarily destroyed him.
Sammy showed up to wrestle and that made for an entertaining match. PD if he ever puts that singlet on will most likely follow his ego and give it a go against Bo. Gonna be fun.
Possible, though not sure why an incoming freshman would be or should be different than a transfer. Still.....if it is...it is. Weird or not.
Grad transfers play week 1 in football all the time, and not all schools have started school by the that time.
My Mar's Dad and PDII would make for a hell of an intermission show.
Much more likely that Downey has some kids somewhere that keep him from wrestling on the road.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post, but I don't think that the meltdown will come directly from Downey's dad. I think he melted himself down into a ban on HR a few weeks back.
The mere fact that you read it on HR makes me more prone to believe the info is likely NOT accurate.
I don't know guys. HR has their very own compliance officer and at least 12 guys who were Dan Gable's best man and have been awarded insider status. Where else would 100% spot on information be available.
