Always. Still, sometimes a freestyle tech feels a little cheap, doesn't it? Now a folkstyle tech, that is owning someone. One might even say controlling someone.
Hasn't he been wrestling for the Hawks?
I thought it was realistic to expect him to win a title for the Hawks this year?

Stink? C'mon Pyles. Maybe ALL those hoops could have included one or two hoops that would have kept him on his previous teams and wrestling today.....
I think he would have to be on a team before he could cert a weight.

Everyone seems to think a terrible product is better than no product. I won't use a terrible product so what's the difference? Flo is a joke.

I hear ya, too. I wouldn't have commented if the "news" was limited to just that -- a reporting of facts. The opinion part on how it would "stink" if this character were not able to wrestle is what drew my cynicism. No worries.
If Downey can't go, that's a feel good story for Mitch Bowman.
And everybody he would have pinned at those 3 weights in Cleveland.
So if he ends up not wrestling at all, does he still have a realistic shot at a title and the Hodge?

Suspected something bad happened when that profanity laced tweet came out. I do feel kind of bad that he isn't going to get his shot; and I feel even worse for us knowing that we will have to continuously hear about how he would of been a national champ if he was only allowed to wrestle.

I lay all blame for this tragedy at Vodkas feet. He was in charge of compliance issues and should have known. All the Hawkeye fan base is going to get out of this is another chartered trip to Fantasy Island.
How soon till Downey reverts back to being Iowa fans "most hated figure in wrestling"? Can they finally drop the charade?

The only person PDIII can blame is PDIII. I know his degenerate father will blame everyone else, but his son put himself in this position to begin with. I would like to see him wrestle so someone can finally shut him up, but if that did happen he would just make excuses for why he lost anyway.
Bowman is a great young man and a very hard worker. I have enjoyed watching his progress and I think when the smoke clears most Hawk fans will be thankful PD3 wasn't a Hawk. He will make the news several times in the coming years for misdeeds and will be referred to as former Cyclone Patrick Downey- We were THIS close to passing the fame to Iowa.
I will not be at all surprised in Bowman becomes an AA in the future.
