In the morning session Team Final was able to beat CP3 all stars to give them their first win.
Lamar Stevens played a very good game, finished with 17&9 and I thought he out played Harry Giles (top 3 player in the country). Lamar had a flurry of inside moves and dunks. There were times he struggled finishing, but other times where he finished through contact, even for some and 1's. I liked how he played, more impressed with his defense than anything, he shut down Giles.
Lonnie Walker finished with 11&4 on 3-6 shooting from three. Walker would show himself in times and then fade away, still very young. He has a nice mid-range step back from the baseline in the first half. His elevation on his shot is so impressive, he can get his own shot by himself.
Bostick had another solid game 10&5. Simply, he knows his role and does not come out of it. He finished in transition a couple of time. His game is dirty work, defend, and get on the break. I will give him a ton of credit he defends physcially and plays hard. He is the type of player who might not be the most skilled, but he makes up for it with grittiness and toughness.
Painter had 6&5, he didn't really do much today. He shows flashed but then goes away. Team Final doesn't make a great effort to get him the ball, but some of that is on him. Fouled out with about 5min left.
Their next game is tonight at 7:30 against Team Penny, hope to have more then.
