In the first game today Team Final lost to team Takeover by 20plus. Team Final only managed 45 team points, which is very low by standards. Simply, it was a blowout, not too much to take from the game other than Stevens and Walker were the two leading scorers for Team Final. Lamar Stevens had a rough go of it, I had him 5-12 from the feild with 13 points and six rebounds. He really could not get much going from anywhere.
A huge note is that Tony Carr did not play in this game and will probably be out the whole rest of the week and weekend. When Carr does not play Team Final struggles, as they did today. There two back up guards, Vaughn Covington and Josh Sharkey are just not up to the calibar of players they will be facing. I could be wrong, but I would expect much of the same for the week/weekend with Team Final struggling. Hard to replace a top 50 player who is you main ball handler.
