Gotta give the Flyers credit for playing an intense and pretty tough game. The Pens can't expect to win many games when they keep falling asleep on defense and give up odd man breaks.
Malkin is an embarrassment. He was justified in responding after the typical Flyers cheap shot to the back of his head. But drop the gloves and fight, even if he makes it a bear hug to keep from getting hurt again. Swing his stick is just plain stupid....

Flyers had 28 shots in the second and 0 goals. What an effort by Murray, but the Pens can't bank on that kind of performance every night and expect to have playoff success.
Flyers are coming around, but probably still a good 2 years away from competing while the kids develop. Hart is a stud. Gordon may have earned himself a full year as head coach the way they have been playing, but TBD if they can keep it up or if they cool off by the end of the year. Still would prefer Q as coach, but who knows if he wants to coach. GM Fletcher has done a good job so far.

they did have 1 goal ... that was taken away by one of the worst brain farts by an official that i have ever seen
