Zain is better than anyone we could have gotten out of the transfer portal and we need bodies at DT. Its one of the most competitive positions to recruit since quality DTs are so hard to find. We played the 2 teams playing for a National Championship and Zane is as good or better than any DTs on those teams. This is huge.
The d -line is often what separates true contenders from pretenders; that was the main reason why UGA won their two recent championships. Even without Carter, I still think that our ends will be one of the best groups in the country. However, I think that it’s essential to bring in one if not two d-tackles between now and the end of spring practice; Ford now has been lost to season ending knee injuries the last two seasons, so you can’t count on him.
