Some of the weights need to be updated. For example, Beamon is now listed on the official roster at 284 lbs. That's a big difference.

I’m still not drinking the Beamon Kool-Aid until I see it on the field. I wish him well, but definitely taking a wait and see approach with him.
there are 3 teams in the regular season that have a chance to run on us......Illinois, Mich and tOSU. Those games we will need some stout DT play......the rest of the season, the faster DTs will cause chaos in the backfield on running and passing plays...........
Iowa will try to run......but I would think that with their rather anemic passing game we can play the run aggressively and get IOWA behind the chains..........
DE we are loaded......and top 6 LBs seem very strong.......... need DTs to hold position and get some penetration against the big boys in the middle of the OL in the bigger games.......I tend to be optimistic and am optimistic that our Defensive Staff is seeing the same thing........ this may be one of the biggest defenses that PSU has ever started with our DTs avg around 290lbs. , DEs around 255 lbs., and LBS around 245 lbs. That good size with the speed of the PSU front seven is going to be a problem for many teams..........
