Five Penn State wrestlers have earned top-three seeds heading into the national championships next weekend.

In the last five (non CoVid) tournaments.... 42 out of the 50 champs came from seeds 1-3 with #1 seeds winning 24 times, #2 winning 8 times, and #3 winning 10 times. Lions could very easy still have 5 champs. Unfortunately, Max is out of the range because a pre seed who was outside of the top 8 hasn't won over those 5 years. Also, 75% of the AA's come from wrestlers pre seeded in the top 8 of each weight class. PSU has 6 guys who should AA.
