Penn State lost one of its best Nittany Lion football fans this afternoon.

One of my closest friends and one of the most loyal Penn State football fans that I've had the pleasure to know for the past 25 years, Fran Fannucci, passed away this afternoon. Remember his wife, Mary, and the Fannucci family in your prayers this evening.

I will greatly miss Fran's wise and loyal council.
