One of the things that I've always tried to do is give kids a second chance. Many of these, and other, players are on their 3rd or 4th chance. At some point, a lot of these excuses are just excuses. For example, on your second chance, you can't miss practices for "personal reasons". First chance, of course. Second chance? Can't do it no matter how legit.
As a friend of mine always says "that sounds like a you problem and not a me problem."
I am shocked that the GB Packers cut Sean Clifford today. I know they traded for a guy who was originally drafted in the first round but it appeared Clifford looked good.
BTW, Clifford was cut so that GB could keep the guy that was replaced by Will Levis who transferred because he couldn't beat out Clifford.

I edited my list to include a few more; I expected PJ to sign with the Birds, he signed with Arizona instead. I wasn’t expecting Allen Robinson to be picked up by anyone.
Detroit is an odd fit for Robinson but good veteran leader for them trying to make a title run
Former Penn State TE Pat Freiermuth has inked a 4yr / $48.4mill contract extension.

I know that it would be for a little less money, but if he could have signed a contract for $48.14mm.......
There's something about 48-14 that just has a nice ring to it!
