Interestingly, Tubi is owned by Fox. And no subscription required. Is it being broadcast exclusively on Tubi?
This is what happens when you fight for a kick time. The White Out ends up on Peacock the week before and we get Purdue on CBS.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean. PSU/Purdue is the third best Big Ten choice for that weekend (and arguably second best over Nebraska/USC), so it isn't surprising to see it on a network channel.
tOSU/Northwestern is the Buckeyes mandated conference game on BTN. (PSU/Maryland will end up on BTN for the same reason.)
The posturing for a night White Out got it on Peacock. I think we all would rather had it on CBS at 330 or NBC at 730. NBC and Peacock only aren't the same thing.
Losing that game didn't push us to Peacock. We'd have been. Noon or 330 if we didn't make a demand. That's the point which you acknowledge when you say it was set for 330 or laterNBC was never going to carry a Big Ten game at night on 11/9 as they had set FSU/Notre Dame for that slot prior to the season starting. The only chance for a primetime network game that day would have been if FOX decided to put a game in the primetime slot (swapping with NBC) but they opted to just use their regular noon slot for the Big Ten.
NBC has a noon broadcast window for the Big Ten on 11/9, but Washington/PSU was already set for 3:30 or later so once NBC chose the PSU game, the only place they could put it was on Peacock.
PSU would have almost certainly been on CBS at 3:30 if we had won versus tOSU. That network seems to have had the first choice for the 11/9 but they understandably took undefeated Indiana instead.

Because we refused to allow it to be played at noon. That's the issue. Not the loss.Prior to the season, the game was set for 3:30 or 7:30/8. CBS had first choice for next week's games so they would have almost certainly picked Washington/PSU (over Michigan/Indiana) had PSU won against the Buckeyes and put the game on at 3:30 on CBS. So, yes, losing that game pushed us to not be chosen by CBS which put us in a situation where NBC would pick the game and since it couldn't be at noon, it was put in their only broadcast medium available with Peacock.
We disagree on that. Had Indiana lost it would have been.Um, okay. But it would have been on at 3:30 on CBS if we had won this past Saturday
We disagree on that. Had Indiana lost it would have been.
Indiana/Michigan is the bigger draw because of Washington and Indiana being undefeated getting their first real test...kind of
But Michigan is the established brandZero chance CBS chooses undefeated Indiana over undefeated PSU coming off of beating Ohio State. "Cinderella" teams like Indiana don't perform nearly as well in the ratings as established brands.
