Football Penn State Recruiting Coordinator Khalil Ahmad Leaving For Temple

' ....high ranking front office role.'

I don't know what this means as it pertains to the Temple college football mgmt. flow chart.

We will see how effective his recruiting process is when the product that he is marketing is Temple football.

College Football programs basically have front offices now with GMs being hired all across the country.

Can't blame a guy for taking a promotion. He may also prefer urban life to State College, smack dab in the middle of Pennsyltucky.

If he was concerned about living in the middle of 'Pennsyltucky', perhaps he should have done a little research on where State College, PA was located before he accepted his position at PSU. I doubt that was the reason but I'm not going to speculate.

I'm still uncertain what his new role and responsibilities will be at Temple. It does sound like a promotion. But titles can be deceiving. And I have no idea what an athletic department mgmt flow chart looks like in this day and age at Temple University. Not to mention operating budgets and support staff.

By all accounts he has done a very good job at PSU and if he wanted to get into the 'front office' side of college athletics that there would be ample opportunities for him to explore in this new role with Penn State. Or apparently, perhaps not.

He did a very good job while he was here and it appears that he is leaving the program under friendly terms. I wish him well in his new assignment.
