Our softball team really needs some consistent pitching. Parshall and another pitching recruit from Punxsutawney, Kylee Lingenfelter, will probably be relied on heavily next season. They may turn out to be really good, but it's always scary to put your team's fate in the hands of true freshmen. Winning college softball teams have shutdown pitching. (Hardly a revelation, I know.)
Lingenfelter is the real deal. She has been mowing them down for years. She will do well
again people equate high school softball as meaningful in this neck of the woods. The only place it means anything is CA
look to performance in travel ball as your indicator of success at the next level provided the travel ball coaches do not sell the brooklyn bridge which seems Coach L has bought hook line and sinker at the moment for 85 percent of her roster
6-26 is atrocious and may not get to 13. A Team AVG of .220 and 2 runs a game wont get it done if your pitching is good. Maybe if they actually invested in a hitting coach or retained Coach Mac they actually might win some games.
