Penn State to (and in) Pittsburgh places to eat?

Taking my son and wife up to Penn State on Monday for a college visit. I am a 1991 grad. After we are done in afternoon we are headed to Pittsburgh to visit Pitt on Tuesday. We are staying at the Wyndham University Centre near Pitt Monday night.

Any suggestions on places to eat on way or in Pittsburgh? I've been to Primanti's but not much else. I assume we are taking 99 to 22 to Pittsburgh. I live in Bethlehem so probably taking turnpike home after Pitt visit.
