Dotson is a special talent. He’s a burner, so he can make the big play downfield. Plus he’s shifty in traffic. Elusive and fast, plus great hands. Special.

i love the three TEs doing a celebration after 44s TD. They pretend like they are going to jump and bump bodies but stop and do the asian bow.

second, you can see that Mustipher makes the first down and hear that the whistles don't blow until well after he gets the second push.

I agree. He makes it look easy. He is simply one of the most, if not the most, skilled players that I've seen at PSU.

I thought some of the Auburn players were pretty mouthy. They should have been called for the throat slash (twice) and at least
one other taunting call. That being said I wish some of our guys would tone it down a tad as well. (Looking at you Joey P.) You're too good to get caught up in some of the nonsense and I guarantee we will get flagged for it once we get into the B1G part of the schedule.
I also thought there was a really late hit on Clifford that was far more egregious than Smith's play on the sideline.

That was their Smoke Monday (I gotta say Auburn wins the game with best names) and yes Tank Bigsby was as good as advertised.
But Smoke was pretty much a jerk all game, pretty sure he was the one with the throat slash and was also the one mouthing off to the students.

I liked the guy we had in the late 90s. He also spoke faster instead of the current guy's long drawn out pronunciation and slow speaking. I still remember some of his phrases... "#39 Curtis Enis the ball carrier. Gain of 10 yards. First down Penn State."

Dean DeVore definitely sounded a little off on Saturday, glad I wasn't the only one to notice it. Used to love Dean as a PA announcer, but in recent years it seems like he tries almost too hard and it shows in how it sounds.

Dotson has surpassed Hamler for me..nothing against Hamler, but he disappeared in games + doesn't have the natural hands of Dotson. Dotson catches everything.

He's entering Godwin/Robinson territory in my book.

I didn't think I would ever see a better Penn State receiver than Bobby Engram but Dotson is right up there.

ESPN3.com usually has a side stream running with just the SkyCam. Especially awesome for White Outs.

Agree with all the peeves listed so far. I hope others chime in with things that bother them about the guy.

I think this guy has been around for awhile. No idea why.

If this isn't the same guy as from about 10 yrs ago, it is his understudy.

Either way, there has been zero learning curve.

Calls out the number instead of the name. Just odd. Worse than a bad HS PA announcer in that regard. Those guys study the lineups.

Uses "is complete" and "incomplete" in such a way that neither conveys meaningful info to the listener. You can't tell from him which it is. There are several different way that it could be said that would tell the story better. This one really, really bothers me. Always has.

And, DUDE, everybody can see it was a handoff.

His long, drawn out pronunciations remind me of the Pitt PA announcer from the late seventies early eighties era. We all thought that guy was a jerk. Now we have one of our own.
