I personally think that Penn State will potentially not lose a bout in this match. But i am curious to hear what others think.

Tsirtsis and Micic transferred out.Haven't followed some other B1G teams very closely.....what in the heck happened to NW wrestling? They never had much depth, but seemed to always have a few good individuals.
Quite frankly, let the second team wrestle today! Preserve the starters for O$U!

We've had a limited schedule, the mat time is needed for some.
Four of the top 33 kids from the 2018 class have indicate they are going to NW (Beard 8, Jessen 16, Karoly 29, Cassioppi 33). May be some light at the end of the tunnel.Haven't followed some other B1G teams very closely.....what in the heck happened to NW wrestling? I hope Storniola has success at NU. After Brill, Sebastian (frequent injuries), Micic, they appear snake-bit. Then their room limit is something only slightly north of 20 (22?),Four of the top 33 kids from the 2018 class have indicate they are going to NW (Beard 8, Jessen 16, Karoly 29, Cassioppi 33). 22. Which is nuts. You would think if some kid who was decent at wrestling in high school and is paying Northwestern's tuition sticker price and he wants to walk onto the wrestling - at those prices they should let him. Not tell him we can't let you wrestle, we already have 22 kids involved.I hope Storniola has success at NU. After Brill, Sebastian (frequent injuries), Micic, they appear snake-bit. I believe the roster cap is Title IX related ... which at least passes the sniff test, because NW is so expensive that they have to have problems getting walk-ons or athletes on partial scholarship in women's sports as well.22. Good points, but would they even be competitive in the Ivy League this year?I believe the roster cap is Title IX related ... which at least passes the sniff test, because NW is so expensive that they have to have problems getting walk-ons or athletes on partial scholarship in women's sports as well.
That said, I don't think it gets to that point -- they don't always butt up against that limit. Last year they had 18 total wrestlers on the roster -- for the same reason: it's mega expensive there, so guys who maybe can start elsewhere often go somewhere else to find out.
Pretty much spot on with this one.you may be right.
125: these 2 met at the Keystone Classic, and Nick won 16-4. Rubinetti has lost to most of the wrestlers he's faced this year. His "best" win was over Brandon Paetzell (Rutgers). Anything can happen, but it's hard to project Nick losing this match.
133: hard to make any predictions here. We're not sure if Campbell or Law are going for PSU. Plus there are concerns with with of them. On the flip side, Isparides is 8-8 this year, with no stand-out wins. Probably his best win was over Sean Fausz, of NC State. Too many questions here on both sides to make any sort of prediction
141: Jimmy has been on a roll of late. On NW"s side, McKenna is 7-10 on the year, and none of his wins are noteworthy. You never know when Jimmy will have a baffling match, but I'd be surprised if it happened against NW.
149: Zain
157: Nolf
165: Sebastian has some talent. He was wrestling 174 earlier this year, and lost to Rasheed at the Keystone Classic. Since dropping to 165 in mid-December, he has no noteworthy wins, and quite a few loses. Joseph should win this match, but can't be sloppy.
174: I believe Braxton Cody has yet to win a match this year, and he was bonused in all of his loses. Hall is still new to the college scene, but this should be an easy match for him.
184: Sliga may be NW's best wrestler. That said, Bo is on a different planet. They met earlier this season in the Keystone Classic, and Bo pinned Sliga. Bo will win the match -- only question is whether he gets the fall or not.
197: Cutch faced Berkowitz earlier this season, at the Keystone Classic, and defeated him 7-1. Nothing that Berkowitz has done since that time gives me any reason to think that Cutch will lose this match.
285: Jennings was at the Keystone Classic, but did not face Nevills. He's 14-7 on the year, but has no noteworthy wins. Sasquatch defeated him, but the score was only 3-1. Hard to see Nevills losing this match.
So, after a little more reflection, PSU should be favored in 9 of the 10 matches. They may win the 10th -- I'm just not confident to predict what will happen there.
