Penn Staters everywhere tonight Cowboys v Bucs

This version of the National Anthem sounds like something straight out of an animated Disney movie

Brady just threw a TD to some rookie named Antonio Brown. Anyone ever heard of him?

Burghers what say you?

Parsons sucks so far
I think Parson is just relying on his pure athletic ability because the D-Coordinator seems to be lousy. Is this the same D-Coord that Lee had said was making stupid calls? Think what Parsons could be with a good defensive coach? (I didn't look anything up but TB would have crushed the Cowgirls if it wasn't for the 4 turnovers)

+1. I don't know what their DC plan was with Parsons but it didn't look good.
On the other hand I thought Dak looked great and Dallas is much better than I thought they were.
Brady is GOAT.

Yeah, a surprisingly entertaining and good game. Dallas may well push people in the NFC-E.

Same as I said at the time — good riddance.
Yep, glad to get rid the jerk. It is possible he will turn into a decent human being under Brady’s tutelage but that was never going to happen with Tomlin, Ben, and the Rooneys.

He seemed lost and confused. Not very aggressive. Didn’t attack the offense at all. Probably be still adjusting to the pros and still learning a new defensive scheme.

Also, was in pass coverage most of the time since Brady threw so much. Not sure his pass coverage is his strength.

Honestly, I love Micah, but I believe he was taken way to high.

Why is everyone surprised by Dallas.. When healthy they have a possible top 5 QB who can sling it, a very good back in Zeke, a good line, and two very good WR in Lamb and Cooper. The problem could be stopping teams. They may be involved in some very high scoring games.

Not the same D coordinator. Maybe the sure hire you. Geez.

Their ol is actually not that good, particularly taking into account their proclivity for untimely holding penalties. Their D is just too young. Zeke has been a great QB, and it was nice to see him stake an early claim for comeback player of the year, but boy, lotsa uncertainty there.

Probably because their OL isn't as good as it was in the past. But more so their QB was coming off a horrible injury. So yes I am surprised.

Connor McGovern looked good though imho...although ironically he may be the one who gets relegated to second string with the return of Zack Martin smh 🤦‍♂️

The guy has never played without a HoF QB. When he had to play with Landry Jones, gatorade coolers were on notice.

Here I thought Micah Parsons was good. I guess it all changed in his first regular-season game, against the defending Super Bowl champion with the GOAT. o_O . Micah should just retire.

My heart hurts.

I agree. I focused on him more than the others and he looked like he belonged in the starting rotation. Hopefully he gets his chance to prove it sooner rather than later.

In defense of the Parsons Project.......he didn’t play linebacker in high school. Switched to LB as a freshman and played but never started. Then started as a sophomore. Then sat out the Covid infected junior year and went pro.

So he played less than two full years at LB and played his first pro game against the greatest QB to ever play the game.

I've found myself becoming much more of a fan of PSU players in the NFL than of the NFL itself.
I'm a strange NFL fan in that I grew up near Philly but had Giants season tix in our family. My dad refused to take me to the Vet. Loved the Vermeil Eagles. Jumped off of that wagon when Buddy came to town.

When I got married my wife was less accepting of all weekend football games than my mom was. In fact she gave the the option of Saturday OR Sunday. I took Saturday with the variable of 1 PSU game per year live and final say on ANY Saturday plans (weddings, family parties, even funerals etc) in the Fall.
By necessity I learned to root for PSU players over teams- and I do my best to track the box scores and highlights.

It has really worked out rather well. I guess I'm an Eagles fan b/c it makes people around me happy when they win. But if Saquon runs for 200 yards and 3 tds on them I'm ok with that.
