I think she needs to take that message to the third world, not the United States. Because Europe and the US haven't increased their population much at all over the last half century or more. It is Africa, Middle East, Central and South America that have had population booms (multiplied by 3 and 4 times) over that time period. That is the primary reason for all of the world migration taking place. It is from these places of population boom to places like Europe and North America.
So I think she is preaching to the wrong people when she tells the US to not reproduce. US citizens are not reproducing much beyond, and maybe even below, the rate necessary to maintain the current population. It's not us.
