That was just a fun game to watch, win or loose! Some of the comments I have read is astonishing. This team is short handed, devoid of the talent needed, and the core players are young and we alomst pulled of the upset. For this team to compete against a team like Maryland, who was preseason #2 team is a big step up! If you looked at that game before the season most of us would have said 20point loss. Give the team and Chambers credit, they came to play and had a very good game plan. Talent usually wins games like that in the end.

I give credit to Shep, he mateched Melo Trimble tonight and actually played better! Mind you Trimble is preseason first team all American. Shep has shown me enough to believe that his game is going to take a few more jumps before he graduates.

Dimond Stone is a load, skilled, and just a big body. He played well, that's a top five recruit, who everyone wanted Coach Calapari was absolutely all over him two summer ago, followed him everywhere. Stone was the problem, plain and simple. Tough to stop that type of talent with a team who doesn't really have a true big man and lack of big men depth.

Lastly, if that game is next year with Lamar, Carr, Hampton, a year older Reeves, Shep, Watkins, and Samuel PSU likely wins that game.

Put the game in perspective, you can see improvement each game.
