Is it just me or there alot of photos and articles on this board that are now just grey squares or little red x's on the screen?

here the images show up in the edit window but will be a red X once i hit the post reply button

Perhaps the site you're hosting the images on doesn't permit transcluding; or perhaps it's a stupid file type convention thing, where Rivals is rejecting *.JPG but permitting *.jpg.

It could have something to do with the flux capacitors. Maybe should reboot the flip flop.

the upper/lowercase would be true on a Linux server but that's not the case here. already tested that.

Well, maybe Rivals doesn't like your site. Here's the same image you're trying to post, which I located by replying and grabbing, then uploaded to imgur.

And looking at the source, I note that the URL you're hosting it on isn't secure, so perhaps that may be the distinction Rivals is making. Why Rivals would still permit me to view the image in the edit field when I reply, I'm not sure. But seeing how it's perhaps the only remaining variable (nothing wrong with the image itself or the file name, from where Rivals sits), I'll bet that's it.
 
Same host I have used since the beginning so maybe rivals made a change
