PIAA to seed -- er, "rank" regional champs at states?

Vote is tomorrow. Unanimously recommended by the wrestling committee. Will not seed the entire bracket, but a real good start if passed. About damn time.

Definitely a step in the right direction. The top wrestlers deserve the opportunity to reach the finals...theyve still gotta earn their way to the finals, but this is a much more fair way to do it.

not a perfect solution to States (doubt that there is such a thing), but certainly an improvement over the current practice.

injuries for a chunk of the regular season, upsets in Regionals, guys going beast after so-so seasons, etc. are tough to address in any system.

Motion passed for a 1-yr trial. It's far short of what it could be -- for starters, it rewards those with fewer losses in a weak schedule -- but it's a start.
