This blog owner writes this:
"Personally? I think Tom Kline has a strong civil case against Penn State, and I think that is where the enemy lies"
I wonder if that was Kline's strategy all along. I wonder if Steve Dunham and his office has ever thought about that. I wonder if any of the Trustees has this on their radar. Does Ira Lubert wish for a "do over" on allowing his Drexel pal to get his foot in the door back in 2011?
I really don't know enough about the case to comment, but I do wonder if Frank Fina is facing the Disciplinary Board, how is he still competently representing Brendan Young? Or is another of the Porn Gang handling that? And how is Fina going to argue this case against his former employer? He's been doing 180s so far about grand jury secrecy, media publicity and unfairness to his client.
Even more intriguing if Kline helped SPM write the grand jury presentment - will Fina complain about the ethics here, when he clearly used a grand jury presentment in a similar manner.
We've known all along that Shapiro wants to step into the office of Governor. Kline certainly can help make that happen. He staged himself well before that D Board hearing panel the other week in Harrisburg regarding Parks Miller - he had their rapt attention.
Did they buy it? We shall see.
