The state has already completed a temporary replacement bridge to give the people access to the mainland from Pine Island and back. They are also working on repairing the causeway to Sannibel with brake necl speed.

I live in FL, Naples area, DeSantis has done a fabulous job, it is FPL, Lee Water and Comcast that are falling behind.
I recall after the Northridge earthquake a major bridge fall (118?). I recall a contractor beating the deadline to rebuild the bridge and getting a TON of money.
Totally worth it!
