Didn't expect that.. Whitehead just ran a fumble back 100 yards but they said Clemson kid crossed the goalline before he fumbled, it was very close.

Wonder if people here thought that call was correct. It WAS close, and there had to be conclusive evidence to overturn the call on the field(Pitt fumble recovery and TD.

I think it was conclusive enough. You also have the ACC clinging to its only remaining CFP hope in Clemson.

That was a HUGE call... it was the correct call and a crushing blow for Pitt. Nardouche was going to freak but stayed under control when they reversed the call.

Honestly, I thought he was losing control of the ball before he crossed.. i thought it was going to be undetermined and the play on field stood.

I actually hate that rule, a WR must maintain possession throughout, and RB should have to maintain control crossing the plain when he is reaching out.

I thought it was the right call. I even thought the ground caused the fumble so even if he didn't break the plane, the return shouldn't have counted.

Important to realize that Clemson has been ripe to be beat all season. They could very easily have 3 or 4 losses right now after watching how they played against Auburn (when Auburn sucks), Troy, NC State and FSU.

They definitely struggled early but seemed to be getting stronger every week

Other than trouncing BC and Cuse they haven't really done anything special all year. Watson looks like he took a step back. FSU is an average football team they squeaked by. NC State is below average and should have beaten them.

They beat Louisville. Lol.

Some of you find it hard to say anything good about anything. Clemson has lost 1 game in like 2+ seasons. I would say their pretty good.

Never said Clemson wasn't good. I said they've looked beatable for most of the season...and they have.

Louisville is a solid football team but even they looked like garbage against the likes of Cincinnati, Duke and UVA.
