Who do they think is going to watch that disaster? Or do they think it will interesting because Clemson may well score 100 points?

It seems Pitt is victimized by a "difficult schedule." The faithful are certain they would be undefeated if they played PSU's weak schedule.
Yeah, don't think our "focus" will have an impact on the outcome of Indiana one way or another. Except for 21 Gums, who needs to give James Franklin his offensive and defensive game plans by tomorrow AM.

Good point, even specialty interest schools like Pitt deserve a 0.500 season every now and again. I don't pretend to understand what it's like to be born a Pitt fan, but I respect their alternate lifestyle.

Just keep holding onto that. It will get you through the bowl less off season, with your top 75 recruiting class filled with MAC level recruits.If your lucky maybe you can coax Wanny out of retirement after going 4-8 next year while we're in another New Years 6 bowl.
Someone called in on the radio this morning and stated that during their game with Miami, at the 7min mark in the first quarter Pitt was given 5 downs and NOBODY caught it. Anybody here see it?
I like the optimism-- 3 weeks ago this board wanted to fire Franklin... you guys are solid-- I will take 4 and 8 next year with our third straight over PSU. See you next year.

Once again, keep holding onto that. Good luck Saturday. About 5 minutes into the quarter you'll be wishing you were back to being on the ACC Game of the Week where most of the nation won't see the epic beatdown. About the only saving grace with the Miami game is that only about 30 people (the whole Pitt fan base from what I can tell) were watching. This week it'll be a national audience and we all know how well PItt plays when they are on National TV.
Pitt had its biggest win of the past several seasons against PSU this year. Congrats.
However, what happened this season won't help Pitt at Beaver Stadium in 2017.
On defense, Penn State loses 1 DE and 1 LB.
On offense, PSU loses its left tackle and center.
Every other player returns, including special teams. It's not anything remotely similar to the situation when PSU played at Pitt in 2016. In fact it will be the exact opposite.
I like PSU's chances, and so will everybody else.
Ha. And that's your problem. You only care about us. Therefore, nobody else cares about you, and that makes Pitt irrelevant.
I'll gladly take a loss to Pitt next year if it means we wind up 11-1. See how that works?
