Frankly, I'm not the one being a dick here. People calling for a shakeup of USA Volleyball when the women's and men's indoor teams are having an enormous amount of success are the dicks. People who are calling for sending our best players and coaches to these minor tournaments are dicks, because they have no idea what they are talking about.
This is the Golden Age of American women's indoor volleyball. Many of the key contributors to this team are Penn Staters who were on the teams that won four national championships in a row. Many of the players from other schools who Penn State competed again in Final Fours in 2007-2009 are also a part of this Golden Age for USA Volleyball. Those were the Golden Age years for NCAA volleyball. Anyone who understood the sport knew in 2008 that the players on the Final Four teams of 2008 would eventually give the USA opportunities to win medals at future Olympics, World Championships, World Grand Prix and World Cups. That is exactly what they have done.
Now you clowns want a shakeup because you think a moderately successful coach from Pitt isn't good enough to lead second and third tier American players to medals at very minor tournaments.
