Please... 3 weights out of 10...

So Rutgers has 2 finalists (assuming Lee shirts), 1 potential AA, am I missing where the hype should be?

They have a solid squad. They could qualify 8-10 guys even without a lot of other teams redshirting. Kinda remind me of a Wisconsin last year in that they have a couple studs and then a bunch of just solid guys. Top 5 is probably a stretch, but Top 10 certainly seems doable.

Could certainly be a lot lower though with a bad tournament. I think Suriano beats Glory...not sure about Vito though. But Rivera could have his hands full at 141 with Yianni/Lee/Eierman/Woods

I'd suggest looking at point totals at B1Gs of returning wrestlers for Rutgers before getting too excited (e.g. Janzer who had 1 point, Aguilar had 1 point ..... at home, no less).

Isn't Yianni going 49?

Aguilar won’t be in the lineup if this report is true, which is kinda crappy for him since he already redshirted.

The only guys that wrestled in B10’s last year that are currently projected to start are Alvarez (8 pts if my math is right), maybe Angelo who got injured in his second match, VanBrill (8 pts if my math is right), and Janzer.

Regardless, of course as PSU fans should know, B10 finish isn’t necessarily indicative of NCAA finish.

Interesting. I’m anxiously awaiting Matter’s thoughts on this development 😎
He will probably say something along the lines of Suriano is one of the greatest wrestler out of NJ but fails bc he isn’t a 4x ncaa champ or that he likes to duck competition 😜🤪

Spencer for the win, if it happens. My question though is how the heck is Nicky Push-ups going to make 125? Less push-ups I guess. 😜
