This is not surprising. In the end, losing at home to a very below average Wisconsin and blowing a 19 point lead at home to a fading Rutgers will be too much to overcome without winning on Thursday.
I think Rutgers and Mich are key in all of this. Need Rutgers to lose to Mich and I think they are out. Then Purdue beats Mich on Thursday and that seals their fate. With that happening and assuming a close loss to Illinois I think there is a pretty good chance we are in. What would really help is O$U knocking off Wisky on Wed. Basically our fellow B10 bubble sitters all lose along with us we may be able to avoid the disaster.
Clearly just win baby but with PSU and basketball and the way this season has gone you can't rely on anything. We may come out and hit our first seven 3s and lead by 10 at the half then blow that in the second half by missing all our 3s or vice versa for a big comeback.
Lunardi who is highly respected has us as last team in this week. I was surprised by that but appears we may need to win first round game to be confident

I'm not familiar with all the other bubble teams but I don't understand how we can be first 4 out, beat NW & MD, and now only move up to last team in.
9 big ten teams are most likely going to get in unless utter chaos happens in other leagues. Wisconsin and Michigan losing Thursday will put Penn state in win or lose. If both win Thursday then Penn state will need to win
I really think Rutgers/Michigan is close to an elimination game. Rutgers could survive it but think it's less than 50%. And even if Michigan does win, they're not out of the woods.
Ya I dont know what to think about Rutgers. They beat penn state twice. I think its better if they beat Michigan for PSU and Wisconsin loses either today or Thursday. If that happens Penn state will get in win or lose. As for extra incentive I bet Wisconsin money line today vrs OSU to help them lose lol
