The question is: which tourney(s) will Smith send a Full or a Partial roster to? If the Pokes & Sparky both come full strength to Reno, I'll be less sad about the Scuffle this year.

In another thread, Tognetti expressed certainty that OSU is sending its starters to Reno but others have expressed skepticism. Says his source is one of the head coaches.

I suspect the pokes will be our greatest threat to repeat this year. I would prefer we see them at nationals and not until then..

OK State has a dual against Cornell on 12/16 at 7 PM and then would need to be in Reno probably by 7 AM on 12/18. Check out expedia for potential flights and you will see that unless they charter a plane (possible but very expensive) travel from Stillwater to Reno is basically 10 hours minimum or they could drive it in about 24 hours. Could be they will charter a flight and have their starters in Reno but I'm betting they do not.

With the 700 flight out of Stillwater, total travel time to the hotel about 7 hours. Hit the gym for a workout and be in bed early! But, not sure what they will do. I guess I will believe Mike until I know otherwise!

Stillwater definitely has an airport. American Eagle has two flights a day from there to Dallas/Fort Worth (one leaving at 7:00 AM, one at 2:35 PM). I'm doing that trip as well, but I'm flying from Oklahoma City, not from Stillwater. (I've actually never used the Stillwater airport)

Figured they had an airport but I didn't check that. I just assumed they would have a LOT more options if they flew out of OK City, which isn't that far from Stillwater. I know for the Scuffle PSU flew out of Harrisburg, which is about 1.5 hours from State College.

When you come to the big bowl series, check out "SWO" when looking for flights. Service just started in August. Not always convenient connections, though.
