WHAT IF the 2018 season plays itself out as the experts are claiming it will? Specifically, what if
  • Ohio State finishes the season undefeated, having claimed the 2018 Big Ten championship, AND
  • Penn State finishes out its 2018 schedule without another loss.
Does our boy Jim Delany plant a thumb on his trusty "They've done enough!" scale in Penn State's favor at College Football Playoff selection time?

He’ll be happy if OSU gets in. After that, doesn’t care.

Would be great if someone presented this question to him at his next public appearance.

Off topic, but might this be a block in the back on Nick Scott (No. 4) at the 28-second mark?

That was a clear block in the back. With how many big plays we've had called back, it would've been nice to see one go the other way.

Saw this the other night but wasn't surprised they let it go. Would have been nice to have that one back.

He's still butt-hurt from the boo birds at the 2016 BIG championship trophy presentation. I don't see him helping our cause ever.

And yes, he's still an a--clown

Ok I'll play. What if an undefeated Ohio State loses to a 2 loss Wisconsin in the Big Championship game. Does Delany push for a 1 loss Penn State or Ohio State? or a 2 loss Big Champion Wisconsin?

I still want to know how it plays out if um, osu, and psu run the table with the exceptions being um loses to us and beats osu, leaving us all with 1 loss intermixed. I'm sure that is covered in some tiebreaking rule formula.

Way ahead of ourselves here but since we're talking the what if game....

Unless there's some sort of Extra Support for Post-Redemption Good Behavior clause in our super secret probationary agreement with the B10, I suspect that you & I already know what would happen in that scenario.

Look how No. 83 has his head on a swivel after the play to see if any flags were thrown for his block in the back. 10 second mark.
