Yeah looks like I'm in the minority on most of these first round matchups so far. I think in general a lot of the hairstyles, bathing suits, etc. from decades past just don't compete well with more modern versions (some exceptions, for sure)

Want to address these comments before posting the next poll; I know this is probably TIC, but know I'm trying to play to the 'BWI base' with a lot of these contestants - I consider myself a 'younger' member of the board (mid 40's) and certainly remember AK more than JS, but trying to be as inclusive as possible with tastes and nostalgia (which is all over the place).

There are some AMAZING pics of Anna from behind, but I think one of my unwritten rules here is that you must be able to see a face for verification (there are also a lot of AK butt 'fakes' out there too).

I have a theory that whatever trends...hairstyles, bathing suits, whatever...are in style when you're going into adolescence and starting to care about and notice this stuff you tend to like later or at least not mind later, after they go out of style. I too noticed Jaclyn Smith's hairstyle it now out of style but back in the 70s that kind of thing was in and so while I know it's out of style now, I don't dislike it. It takes me back in time.

Anna has the attitude and athleticism, but she does not measure up to Jaclyn Smith in terms of beauty. Jaclyn wins this one easily, IMHO. I saw Midnighter's comment concerning the paucity of photos from Jaclyn Smith's peak. Hard to believe there aren't more quality photos out there of her. She'll need them to advance further in this highly competitive poll.
