POLL: Predicting the PSU-Iowa 2019-20 Finish - PART II

This poll is the second in a series for the Team Title.

Part I was posted in October. We gave Iowa little chance, with 51 (96%) votes for PSU winning the team title and the most common margin-of-victory prediction being 10.5-20 pts (53% of PSU votes).

What we now know with more confidence:
• Iowa's intended 133 will be DeSanto and not Teasdale
• Iowa's intended 141 is most likely
Murin, and not DeSanto
• PSU's intended 184 is Brooks and not Rasheed
• PSU's intended 197 is most likely Rasheed and not Cassar Conel

New uncertainties:
• PSU's 285
• KMF's assertion that Spencer Lee will not compete in NCAA wrestling the remainder of the season, now that he is qualified for OTT.


What are folks predicting for the NCAA Championships outcome, now?

Looking at current TOM rankings

Iowa has 9 AA’s with 2 #1’s, 2 #2’s, 1 #3, 2 #4’s, 2 #5’s, and 1 #10.

PSU has 6 AA’s with 3 #1’s, 1 #2, 1 #4, and 1 #6.

Iowa is definitely in the drivers seat and it could be big! PSU needs help at 125, 149, 184, 197, and 285 if Cassar is out! Can Teske, Verkleeren, Brooks, Rasheed, and Nevills close the gap?

I think Nick can take him too, folkstyle or not. However, unfortunately that's nearly irrelevant. What matters is that Eierman would outscore Murin by a lot at Nationals and that would be bad for us.
