I live in Northern Va and have always worn Penn State Clothing. After the Sandusky issue I received some negative comments not excessive
I continue to wear the clothing with pride.
This week while at my daughters regional track meet and wearing my PSU shirt I received numerous positive comments such as "happy for you guys" "awesome shirt" "what game " and the " We Are"
I had someone come up to me told me he played at Michigan in the early 90s thought they threw Joe under the bus and was happy for the program. He also said no other program in the Big 10 can compete with the "White Out". He also said you guys hit a home run hire With Franklin.
Granted he was from Michigan, but my feeling was he was very sincere and happy for us, not that OSU Lost

I live in Michigan and had two um athletic supporters come up to me during the week saying "great win" and all that jazz. One of them said, "You guys are really popular around here this week," obviously drawing reference to the hatred here for Tosu.

The downside of beating Tosu was helping out um.

I live in Virginia and, even after the whole mess of the last five years, have only ever gotten positive comments when wearing my PSU gear.

Always good for a few "We are"s

Just heard a story from my parents, who are still able to travel a bit and were coming back today from a cruise. They did say they were able to get the OSU game on tv at sea. They had a weather delay dating back to yesterday and had to stay in Philly last night unexpectedly before finally getting to State College today. Ma Bell was talking to a sympathetic-eared supervisor about the several delays they had today on top of flight cancellation yesterday. Said "I know this airline is owned by an Ohio State fan. Everybody else got out today but the State College flight." The guy was dying. He said "That's the best thing I heard all day." Turns out he said he was from Michigan.

My daughter told me today while walking in the hallway while wearing her PSU shirt a teacher called to her "WeAre".. I asked her what she did and she said " I hollered back PENN STATE" . I have taught her very well

Both my kids go to Marshall and every time they hear we are, they think Penn State...now that's teaching kids well.

The morning after the win we were hiking down a mountain near the NC-VA border at about 11am. I look down the trail and see four guys decked out in PSU fall gear head to toe. I yell We Are, they reply Penn State! No doubt our yelling echoed all over the valley.

We are everywhere man.

I have had lots of positive comments this week from many people here in the Northern Virginia area. The win is one thing, but Franklin continuing the emphasis on education will pay us lots of dividends in the end. I had several people talk to me about how that one guy did not play because of not going to class, and he was a beast in the second half. Not many programs would sit a guy for the first half of one of the biggest games of the year, just because they did not go to class and they went home a little early for the weekend!. That is what makes us Penn State! We Are...!
