Besides the fact that the goverment controlling the price of goods and services even more than they do now is not something I want to see, how much will this help consumers? The average net profit of food corporations is 7-10%. That means if you mandate corporations make 0% profit, food prices would decrease less than 10%. Even in this extreme example, how much will that help the average American. Food prices are up 40% since COVID, BTW.
