Just because you do it do it doesn't mean you should do it - say you lose 50 season ticket buyers because of this? People have options and if you nickel and dime them enough they will take their business elsewhere or just stay home - Capitalism isn't all about making money for monies sake with no regard to the consumer unless you don't plan to stay in that business for very long.

Sports are the marketing arm of a government entity, depending on which day of the week university officials have to answer to. Don't feel bad, there are very few examples left of true capitalism in today's society given all the government manipulation going on.

Why wouldn't they? It's not like they are trying to sell MORE hard copy tickets so they have no incentive to try to find what the best price should be. This is a convenience/luxury for the OP.
