The Greats.. Manning/Brady/Roeth/Rivers/Rodgers
Good system guy.. Brees (not near as effective in standard non-spread)
Where is the next great QB? Andrew Luck (probably). Russell Wilson is a gamer but seems a bit limited tool wise. Don't think he ever be effective from the pocket over the middle. The league will be a mess when Manning/Brady/Roeth retire. You'll be left with Luck and Rodgers. Romo has a chance to be a great one if he can learn from his mistakes. Some hyper-athletes like Newton and Kaepernic seem to lake the maturity and work ethic--modern day Vince Young's... maybe Bridgewater has a shot.
The dual-threat thing seems to be playing out.. so guys can run.. but most of them can't turn, look, and throw as fast as the good ones.
It's ironic that the ball is thrown so much by a bunch of QB's who are not special in the least... if they changed the rules back towards the DEF where they used to be, half the teams wouldn't cross 20 points every weekend.-sg
